Guidelines for the Video Challenge
1. Video can be of any topic your group decides.
Examples and ideas...... pet video, horror movie trailer, public service announcement, tell a folktale, make a commercial, music video, message to the President, stand up comedy, puppet show, re-enactment of a favorite TV show/movie, superhero episode (Superman, Larry-Boy, Batman, James Bond) anything you want!!
2. It must not be longer than 2 1/2 minutes.
3. There must be music in the video, somewhere.
4. There must be a sock puppet.
5. The video must give a 'nod' to the adviser of the homeroom in a creative way. Ex: for Mr V's homeroom, someone might walk by in the background with a hammer, Mrs Sunderland's homeroom might have someone painting or working with clay, Get it? be creative without being blunt.
6. Everyone in the advisory should take part in making the video. Possible jobs? storyboard creator, dialogue writer, scenery, music, costumes, lighting, public relations, best boy, filming, editing, administrator, note-taker, acting coach, props, etc. Put credits at the end to list which jobs were done by whom.
7. If you need help with videotaping or editing or producing your video, let us know, we'll make sure you get the help you need.
Viewing and judging will be on the 2nd week of April when we''ll all come together during Advisory time, watch the videos, and wait for the judging.
