Final Exam Study Guide 2016-17
1. You will be asked to play along with one of the many drum rhythms we'e learned. Once you get going, you will be asked to continue by yourself and keep playing the steady rhythm while it's partner rhythms is added at the same time. Practice the rhythms with the videos, practice while listeneing to a song on the radio and playing the steady rhythms with body percussion at the same time.
2. Play a song on the piano. Play a song we've learned in class this year. Twelve bar Blues, Oh Susannah, Stars and Stripes Forever, The Entertainer, This Land is your Land, or you can learn to play Happy Birthday. Click here for Happy Birthday
3. Read a selection of rhythm cards and listen to a rhythm performed for you. Be able to choose the rhythm you've just heard from the selection.
